Terms of Service

Welcome to Haven. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Haven application and related services (the "Service") operated by Hey Haven LLC, doing business as HeyHaven AI ("Haven," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Haven is an AI-powered household assistant that helps you manage everyday home life, including meal planning, bill tracking, errand bundling, chore management, and more. The Service is available via web and mobile applications at heyhaven.ai.

2. Account Terms

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and account. Haven cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to maintain account security.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

3. Free Trial

Haven offers a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start your trial. At the end of the trial period, you may choose a paid plan or continue with limited access.

4. Paid Plans and Billing

Haven offers the following paid plans:

  • Standard — $4.99 per month. Unlimited AI messages, full weather and garden intelligence, unlimited household members, and priority suggestions.
  • Family Pro — $9.99 per month. Everything in Standard plus the Business Lite module, invoice tracking, expense logging, and shared household access.
  • Pay-per-use — $0.01 per message. No monthly commitment; purchase credits as needed ($1 = 100 messages).
  • Friends Add-on — $1.99 per month. Share lists and tasks with friends outside your household.

Subscription fees are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. Unused message credits on pay-per-use plans do not expire.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice via email.

5. AI Disclaimer

Haven uses artificial intelligence (powered by Claude, developed by Anthropic) to generate suggestions, recommendations, and responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI can make mistakes. You should always verify important information before acting on it.

Haven is not a substitute for professional advice. The Service does not provide and should not be relied upon for medical advice, legal counsel, financial investment advice, or mental health counselling. For these matters, please consult a qualified professional.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person or entity.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the Service.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service or any content generated by it.
  • Attempt to circumvent any security features or access controls of the Service.
  • Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

7. Data and Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of your data in accordance with that policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the property of Hey Haven LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any data, content, or information you input into the Service ("User Data"). By using the Service, you grant Haven a limited license to process your User Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HEY HAVEN LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service.
  • Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
  • Any decisions or actions you take based on information provided by the Service.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email and/or by posting a notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
